“ 07/06/2018 - Got a residential sprinkler system installed from them, my concern was how they were going to tap into my plumbing to get the water outside since my hose line was very old. They quickly took care of all of plumbing, I now have a nice new hose line to the side of my house that they split into the sprinkler system. Which they didn't over charge me for like I know my plumber would have. Overall the pricing was fair, and I even upgraded to the Wi-Fi enabled weather adjustment unit, which I highly recommend. I first spoke with Tory. I told her I wanted to have a second backflow test so I'm not hounded in May when everyone is trying to turn on and test their system. Tory told me to check with my water district first. She said some don't allow a second test in a calendar year! I did, they do and I had my test schedule reset.
Manny arrived well within the time frame I was given. He was knowledgeable, efficient and fixed what I knew was wrong as well as what my previous service never told me was wrong. I spent a whole season with an entire zone out!
Then I got the bill. I had been told what various services cost on the phone but I was not prepared for what I was charged. In the past I had paid 50% MORE for the same services from my PREVIOUS contractor!
Pacific Irrigation earned every one of the five stars I gave them in every department of their company.
I only have one question; this is New York not California. Why are you not called 'Atlantic'? LOL

“08/02/2017 - I installed my poor man sprinkler system in the front yard when I purchased my house back in 1985. I used PVC pipe and a battery-operated timer which took me 2 weekends to install. Over the last few years I have spent countless hours repairing my aging sprinkler system. It was time for me to replace it since I also wanted the side backward automated too. I researched a few lawn sprinkler companies in my area. “Pacific Lawn Sprinkler” had great reviews, not only for installations, but for service too. I setup an appointment for a quote. The representative arrived on time, surveyed the property and provided me a quote the same day. It was decided that there were to be 6 zones, 2 in the front yard, 2 in the backyard, 1 on the side yard and 1 for the flowerbed by the pool. We agreed the best time for the installation would be mid-July. My setup also required 2 anti-siphon backflow valves since there was not an easy way to get the water from the front yard to the backyard & pool areas. I was skeptical when I was told the whole job would be completed in one day. I felt that there were a lot of zones, sprinkler heads and 2 anti-siphon valves to deal with. Five workers showed up first thing in the morning on the scheduled installation day and immediately started working. They were both friendly and professional. I could tell that the team worked well together and that they knew exactly what they were doing. As promised, and to my amazement, they completed the job before the end of the day. I was told how the system controller was currently configured and how to modify the settings if I needed to. They also tested each zone, one at a time, to make sure I was happy with the coverages for the lawns and flowerbed. I was completely satisfied with the work that was performed. I plan on using them for the Spring startup, Fall shutdown and any possible future maintenance needs. They delivered exactly what they promised and completed it in 1 day as they said they would. “07/17/2017 - Called on or about July 5th. Estimator Steve came out within 2 days. Turned out Steve is one of the owners of the company. Received a email that he would be there between 2 and 5. Steve was there a little after 3. Was promised a estimate to be emailed by 6pm had it before that time. Worse part was they were closed when I got the email so I could not schedule the work until the next day. Work scheduled for July 15th. Received a email that they would arrive between 8 and 12 that day. At 7:45 I look out the window and Steve was there marking off for where the sprinkler heads were to be installed. Work crew arrived about 8:05. As Steve said Eddie the foreman of the crew will become my new best friend. Work was performed flawlessly. Only hitch was the back flow valve was leaking internally and Steve had to bring another. Which did not slow the operation down at all. When Eddie drilled in to the house to run the wires for the control module and while stripping the wires he made sure that he clean all the scrap up. He even was picking up the fine sheet rock dust. There was not a single piece of debris left anywhere. I give this company A++++++ When I was looking into which company to use I never read the positive comments I always read the F comments. Hey things happen and you cant please everyone but what impressed me was the responses from the company management on the bad ones. They took ownership of the problem and were willing to rectify the problem where as another company that installs sprinklers seem to blame the customer for each problem. System work great no issues thanx again Steve Eddie and the work crew.

I called the old company and they said it would be over two weeks before they could come back to check they're work. So I found Pacific Lawn sprinklers on Angie's list and ask them to come. The people on the phone setting up the schedule were very polite and responsive to get someone to me as soon as possible even though I had to wait about five days because it's the season. They came within the time promised and were very professional and courteous. I didn't feel the same "attitude" of "you're not the only one" that I did with the older company. I felt like they cared. As I walked the property with them we found seven heads leaking in the system. Two days later my landscaper found a leak in the flower bed from the hose underground. I immediately received a confirmation email and shortly after, a telephone call from one of your representatives. Being an individual in the service business with online scheduling, paperless estimating and invoicing, I appreciated your process that was simple and efficient.

Most contractors, in my opinion, like to inflate the price in upper class neighborhoods, but not Pacific.

“8/31/2015 - Installed two new sprinkler zones, expanded two zones and fixed a number of issues with a lot of different heads and feeds to the zones. Also installed new box. Crew arrived on time, a bit earlier than the appointment time. They started to work immediately, digging out the new trenches for the new zones, and extending some of the existing zones. They seemed to finish ahead of the schedule job time, which was 5 but they finished around 3pm. Even though they accept credit cards, cash etc, they seemed to really want check/cash rather than a credit card which was fine and I can understand why with the fees and all eating into the profit. Everything has continued to work all summer without any issues, other than a significantly larger water bill from last year when we had not sprinklers. But all of the roses, trees and vegetables have done much better throughout the summer. The only complaint I would make is the pricing of the box, and the overall quote that included it. It was said that a box that does 12 zones was ~$600, from the same maker as the one I had which was Hunter. I inquired about this cost and they said it was included with the quote, when I heard back again they asked if they could change that to a different manufacturer, rain bird. I had checked out prices of 12 zone boxes and I think it was $150, the rain bird was even cheaper ,about $99 from what I could tell. I figured I would go with what they recommend so went with it. It certainly was easier to use. But after doing some math, before and after having the work done, it seems like the quoted price for the new box was way too much and possibly used to inflate the quote. It's a classic sales strategy, which I have seen done in many industries so is certainly not egregious. Compared to the other quote I received which was 7k for a whole new system, and 2500 to do half of the work that pacific lawn sprinklers did to augment the existing one, it was a good deal and well worth the money. ”

Pacific Lawn Sprinklers replaced my underground sprinkler system 2 years ago and it has been working great. They send appointment reminders (so helpful!). The reps are friendly. They also have an online appointment system which is great. For a fee they winterize my system (which I had not done and was the cause of my pipes bursting) and reopen and inspect my system in the spring.

Been using Dobson lawn care for years and years and finally had enough of their poor service and high costs. We have an 18 zone system with 100 heads. Hired Pacific lawn and met the owner. He is very courteous and knowledgeable. His crew are quick and neat. They get the job done. I hired them to install a new head. Then to install and new controller. They even programmed it remotely. Then used them to winterize my system. They allow you to book service on line. They show up as promised. And fair prices. What else can you ask for? Definitely recommend.

Hector and the crew were terrific. They arrived at 8am as advertised and quickly got to work. Hector explained how the installation works and introduced me to each of the crew members by name. They worked all day, from 8 - 6:30 and then walked me around showing me how each zone operates, explained the plumbing and the computer and made sure I understood everything. While this was going on, one of the guys walked around seeding any areas that needed to be touched up. I could not be happier with Pacific's work and their representatives. Its been a good to get my sprinklers valves and sprinkler heads serviced with work with Pacific Lawn Sprinklers. They were flexible to very accommodate my request for an early appointment and get them fixed per request. Hugo is fast and efficient at his work and did a great job. I had used Pacific last fall to winterize the sprinklers and have I used them second time over. I will recommend them to others too.

The person showed up on time. Initially I was thinking about just getting an estimate for the repair work since Pacific was the first company I made the appointment. The estimate seemed reasonable, the person was very professional and seemed trustworthy. Since he was carrying the parts needed for the job and was available to do the work right away I hired him. The job was completed in couple of hours and I am satisfied with the work.
