Pacific Lawn Sprinklers offers a complete package from consultation, irrigation design including full drawings (shop, construction and asbuilts), specifications, layout, installation (union affiliations, prevailing wage, OSHA Safety 10 certified) thru the warranty, demonstration and personnel training.

Pacific Lawn Sprinklers can provide fully certified irrigation technicians to perform large scale installations including 1” – 14” piping projects, whether the job calls for PVC Piping or High Density Polyethylene tubing (requiring butt fusion processes) Pacific Lawn Sprinklers has the capability. Many irrigation jobs may require complete plumbing tap services and installation of booster pumps and holding tanks, which is not a problem for Pacific Lawn Sprinkler.

Most commercial irrigation projects require the excavation and installation of piping with either backhoes, trenchers or specialized vibratory plows and air missles. Pacific Lawn Sprinklers owns their own equipment and has access to a vast inventory of materials needed to perform any size commercial irrigation project with very little lead time.

Consultation and Budget Planning: Pacific Lawn Sprinklers has been employed in the early stages of many irrigation projects to design the correct sprinkler system to fit the needs of the owners/project managers/designers. Pacific Lawn Sprinkler will value engineer your individual irrigation project to create the most cost efficient, water efficient and green solution possible. Many engineers and architects consult with us prior to designing their projects to ensure that a quality irrigation system is specified.

Certified Irrigation Designers and Auditors: Pacific Lawn Sprinkler maintains a team of certified irrigation designers and irrigation auditors that can provide a solution to any irrigation project. We provide continuous education and training so our team is on the cutting edge of the latest water conservation principles and Green-Certified applications. Many times Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is asked to perform water audits on existing, older irrigation systems that tend to waste water and incur excessive water usage bills. In many cases Pacific Lawn Sprinklers has saved owners and property managers thousands of dollars a year in water usage charges by retrofitting the existing irrigation system.

CAD/Shop/Asbuilt Drawings: Pacific Lawn Sprinklers staffs a full design center which offers project managers and owners a complete package of drawings and specifications for any project size. Union Affiliations/Prevailing Wage/Certified Payroll Reporting/Insurance: When your irrigation project requires union personnel or prevailing wage employees Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is well versed in providing the proper staff and back office paperwork requirements for a seamless operation. As required on many irrigation projects, all of Pacific Lawn Sprinklers personnel are OSHA Safety 10 certified and receive continuous safety and education training. Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is also a participant in OCIP/CCIP Self-Insured programs. All liability, workmans compensation and completed operations insurance can be provided upon request

Certifications and Specialized Installation Practices: Pacific Lawn Sprinklers has on staff New York State Certified Backflow Installers and Backflow Testers. Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is a Certified Irrigation Contractor and a member of the Better Business Bureau carrying all necessary Consumers Affairs Licensing. Pacific Lawn Sprinklers personnel are factory trained in specialized high density polyethylene butt fusion techniques, two-wire decoder installations, satellite central control systems and ET systems. All installation and service technicians are factory authorized and trained representatives for such leading irrigation brands such as HUNTER, RAINBIRD, TORO, NETAFIM, TUCOR, VISTA, CAST, UNIQUE, LUMINAIRE AND BK LIGHTS.

Applications and Procedures: Many of our sprinkler installations require specific detail and installation procedures such as;

1. Drip Irrigation; Pacific Lawn Sprinklers has been designing drip irrigation system using Netafim drip irrigation products for over 30 years. This technique is used to deliver droplets of water directly to the base or root system of plants or grass. This is commonly seen in planter boxes, rooftop terraces, street medians, flower boxes, rose gardens, vegetable gardens and many Green projects. Drip rings around the base of trees are used to properly irrigate a newly planted tree till it has time to develop its own root system and is controlled separately from other planting areas.
2. Sleeving; any irrigation project requiring piping or wiring to pass under a hardscape such as a parking area, driveway, walkway or inaccessible area requires the use of sleeving. Sleeving can be either Schedule 40/80 PVC piping or in some applications steel piping. The process of installing sleeves is to protect the lines or wires that run under the hardscape from being damaged during construction and later accessible for repairs if needed.
3. Water Retention Projects; An old principle that is being used much more widely now. It is the process of collecting and recycling rain and reclaimed water in a series of cisterns. The water is then reused by pumping it out of the cisterns and into the irrigation system. Pacific Lawn Sprinklers can provide a complete design and package using this type of process.
4. Booster Pumps; Many larger irrigation projects require the proper design and utilization of a booster pump to supply the necessary gallons per minute (GPM) and operating pressure required for the irrigation system. Pacific Lawn Sprinkler will ensure that the booster pump is sized correctly for the project and can provide complete installation, startup and maintenance practices for a trouble free system. Some of our suppliers are Rainbird, Watertronics, Flowtronics, Goulds and Jacuzzi.

Maintenance Programs; Pacific Lawn Sprinklers not only provides the design and installation of commercial irrigation systems but also provides full after-sale service and maintenance programs. These irrigation services include Spring Start-ups, Monthly Inspections, Annual Backflow Preventer Testing, Booster Pump Maintenance, Winterizations and 24-Hour emergency response services.
