Gusty Winds, Downed Trees Cause Numerous Power Outages In Westchester

Numerous power outages have occurred in the Hudson Valley as a cold front accompanied by strong winds with gusts up to 50 miles per hour sweeps through Tuesday, with numerous reports of downed trees. A total of 1,260 lost power in Putnam and about 350 in Northern Westchester at 10 a.m., according to NYSEG.

11/05 Habitat for Humanity of Westchester's Walk for Homes 1 PM

Habitat for Humanity of Westchester is excited to announce its 16th annual Walk for Homes, which will be held on November 5th at St. Augustine's Church in Larchmont at 1pm. This event looks to help raise awareness of the lack of affordable housing in Westchester County and with Habitat for Humanity of Westchester coming into its 30th year of service, it will be the largest walk to date.
