Gusty Winds, Downed Trees Cause Numerous Power Outages In Westchester

Numerous power outages have occurred in the Hudson Valley as a cold front accompanied by strong winds with gusts up to 50 miles per hour sweeps through Tuesday, with numerous reports of downed trees. A total of 1,260 lost power in Putnam and about 350 in Northern Westchester at 10 a.m., according to NYSEG.
