Have my Sprinkler Spring Turn on Completed by the Professionals, or do it Myself?

Have my Sprinkler Spring Turn on Completed by the Professionals, or do it Myself?

It’s easy to turn on the sprinkler system at your home and you can easily turn them on yourself, right? Wrong! A common misconception among homeowners is that a spring start up for a sprinkler system is “just turning on the valve”. On the contrary, Pacific Lawn Sprinklers has detailed, proven, and systematic irrigation procedures that must be followed to ensure your sprinkler system is operating at its best.

Pacific Lawn Sprinklers Earns 2018 Angie’s List Super Service Award

Award reflects company’s consistently high level of customer service

January 18, 2019 – Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is proud to announce that it has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award (SSA). This award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2018.

Water Requirements for Your Lawn Sprinkler System during the Spring Season

Spring is the time of the year when your landscape is starting to emerge from the long cold winter season. The buds on the trees are finally starting to develop. The roots on your plants and grass are beginning  to grow again and plant life is regaining it’s beautiful vibrant colors.

At this time of the year your automatic lawn sprinkler system needs to be properly “started up” and reviewed. All repairs and alterations should be performed (by only a qualified irrigation technician) at this time to ensure your system is operating at its peak performance. The water duration and frequency of the watering cycles  (aka settings) should be programmed into the lawn sprinkler controller to deliver just the right amount of moisture during each irrigation cycle. Over watering at this time is a common problem and can severely hurt or diminish the growth  of your seasonal plantings and existing evergreens.

During the annual spring start up visit, Pacific Lawn Sprinklers will program your irrigation controller for the adequate amount of water required at this time of year. A complete inspection of all main lines, lateral lines, backflow preventers and electric solenoid valves will be performed. Each sprinkler head will be checked and adjusted to ensure proper coverage and operation.

Tired of high water bills or plants that continually seem to underperform or wither away?

The solution could be that you are over watering . Let Pacific Lawn Sprinklers Auditing Team conduct a full evaluation of your existing irrigation system and identify your systems inefficiencies or misuse of water.

A thorough review of your system’s water consumption, operating pressure, run times, cycle frequencies,  location and performance of  sprinkler heads and solenoid valves will be performed.  Environmental conditions and soil compositions will be evaluated to ensure that all factors have been considered. Calculations and cost effective measures will be discussed and a  retro fit for your existing  system will be proposed. A Toro “Water Smart” retro fit will upgrade your system to the most state of the art water conserving irrigation components.

How Does Pacific Lawn Sprinklers Stand out From the Competition?

For close to four decades, Pacific has been offering lawn sprinkler irrigation installation and service, low voltage landscape lighting installation and service, holiday decorating, and drainage solutions.
