DWI checkpoints in two Jersey Shore towns for Halloween weekend

As many celebrate Halloween this weekend with spirits in the form of an alcoholic beverage, several law enforcement agencies will set up sobriety checkpoints around the state. State Police said they will be stopping drivers on Saturday in the area of Belmar and Neptune.

Schneidera s hoping to rebuild restaurant after fire

To Johann "John" Schneider, the fire that struck his family's popular restaurant shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday morning still seems like a bad dream. In an interview with The Coast Star on Wednesday, he said, "Every morning, including today, I said, 'It's just a nightmare' or 'It's just a dream.'

Firefighters respond to blaze at restaurant

Mr. Gentile said mutual aid was provided by the Belmar Fire Department, Neptune City Fire Department, Neptune Fire Department, Bradley Beach Fire Department, Wall Township Fire Department, Wannamassa Fire Company and the Ocean Grove Fire Department. No injuries were reported at the scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, said Mr. Gentile.

To say that Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is ready for the 2018 Spring Season would be an understatement! Earlier this month Pacific held their annual team meeting for all office staff and technicians, and what a turn out it was! There was a sea of blue “Pacific” shirts in their Queens training facility, with over 100 people in attendance. Further, the parking lot was full of their bright yellow service trucks.
