Murder suspect assisted accused shooters, prosecutors say

TRENTON -- One of the men charged with the shooting on Carver street that ended the life of a city woman and injured a teenage girl made his first court appearance Tuesday and a judge ordered hims detained. Wilma Rutledge, a grandmother, was killed in front of her home on Carver Lane and North Willow Street on Oct. 6 .

Fired Mercer County parks director indicted, state AG announces

TRENTON -- Kevin Bannon, the former executive director of the Mercer County Park Commission, has been indicted on official misconduct and several related charges for using his position to divert thousands of dollars of public money to a nonprofit he controlled, state authorities said. The investigation targeting Bannon, and the Friends of Mercer County Parks, was revealed in the spring of 2016 when state investigators executed search warrants at county properties.

Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is READY FOR SPRING!

To say that Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is ready for the 2018 Spring Season would be an understatement! Earlier this month Pacific held their annual team meeting for all office staff and technicians, and what a turn out it was! There was a sea of blue “Pacific” shirts in their Queens training facility, with over 100 people in attendance. Further, the parking lot was full of their bright yellow service trucks. The energy level was high, as all team members were eager to get back to work and continue doing what they do best – offering unmatched, “ON TIME OR ON US” customer service.
