Kent Man Used Improvised Explosive Device Against Ex-Girlfriend, Police Say

A Kent man is behind bars after his DNA was found on an explosive device planted on top of his ex-girlfriend's vehicle. The incident began on March 5, when a Lake Carmel woman called Town of Kent Police to report an issue with her vehicle.

Man Seriously Injured In Crash Involving Katonah Motorist

A Stormville man was seriously injured during a crash Sunday that closed the intersection of Route 6 and Route 52 in Carmel for more than five hours, according to Putnam County Sheriff Don Smith. New York School District Helps 'Stuff the Bus' for Puerto Rico

The transportation department of a school district here joined in efforts to collect supplies for those still suffering the effects of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Pam Richardson, a Kent resident, came up with the idea for a "Stuff the School Bus" event, and worked with Carmel Central School District, the Carmel-Kent Chamber of Commerce, Carmel Rotary Club, Putnam Hospital Center, Henry Boyd Well Drilling, and several local merchants to make it happen, according to Mid-Hudson News .

To say that Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is ready for the 2018 Spring Season would be an understatement! Earlier this month Pacific held their annual team meeting for all office staff and technicians, and what a turn out it was! There was a sea of blue “Pacific” shirts in their Queens training facility, with over 100 people in attendance. Further, the parking lot was full of their bright yellow service trucks.
