Nassau County SPCA Offering $5,000.00 Reward For Man Shooting Cats in Garden City

October 30, 2017 - The Nassau County SPCA is offering a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for shooting of cats in Garden City, NY. Over the past several months the Garden City Police Department has received numerous reports of deceased cats found between Stewart Ave and North Ave and Kensington Rd and Brixton Rd. Forensic analysis of some of the deceased cats found that the cause was due to the cats being shot with a small caliber bullet.

The parents of a 13-year-old boy in a New York City suburb say that their son had to be hospitalized in order to treat the depression and eating disorder they say he developed after being bullied every day at school. Deirdre O'Brien of Garden City, New York, shared a powerful account of the alleged bullying she said her son, Liam, endured, in a public Facebook post that has since gone viral, garnering over 3,000 reactions and more than 2,000 shares.

To say that Pacific Lawn Sprinklers is ready for the 2018 Spring Season would be an understatement! Earlier this month Pacific held their annual team meeting for all office staff and technicians, and what a turn out it was! There was a sea of blue “Pacific” shirts in their Queens training facility, with over 100 people in attendance. Further, the parking lot was full of their bright yellow service trucks. The energy level was high, as all team members were eager to get back to work and continue doing what they do best – offering unmatched, “ON TIME OR ON US” customer service.
